To actively respond to the Ministry of Education’s call to promote graduate employment and further advance industry-academia collaborative education, on April 11, our company warmly hosted a delegation led by Peng Saifeng, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Life Sciences at Hunan Normal University—our alma mater.
Qin Hao (Class of 2014 alumnus), General Manager of the company, together with the executive team, held in-depth discussions with the university representatives on topics including joint talent cultivation and industry-academia-research collaboration. During the meeting, the two parties reached multiple consensuses on building internship bases and targeted talent development programs, laying a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in the future.

During the symposium, General Manager Qin Hao (Class of 2014 alumnus) fondly recalled his student days at his alma mater and expressed sincere gratitude for the school’s dedicated cultivation. As the founder of the enterprise, he detailed the development history, core business, and globalization strategy of Sunshine Bio-Tech, with a focus on sharing the company’s key technological breakthroughs and innovative achievements in the biotechnology field. With the accelerated expansion of overseas markets, the company’s demand for internationalized and professional talent continues to grow. General Manager Qin Hao stated: “We look forward to deepening industry-academia-research collaboration with our alma mater, establishing a long-term strategic partnership in joint talent cultivation, key technology breakthroughs, and achievement commercialization, so as to cultivate versatile talent adapted to industry development.”

Deputy Party Secretary Peng Saifeng systematically introduced the university’s innovative initiatives in discipline construction and talent cultivation. He pointed out and emphasized the university’s optimization measures in experimental teaching and practical internship segments, which cultivate students with solid theoretical foundations and hands-on capabilities that meet enterprise talent needs. Regarding industry-academia collaboration, Peng Saifeng put forward three suggestions: First, enterprises should deeply participate in talent cultivation—by involving enterprises in offering relevant cutting-edge courses, students can master key industry technologies in advance. Second, scientific research collaboration should be deepened—by integrating the university’s scientific research resources with enterprises’ practical experience and financial strengths, major challenges in the biotechnology field can be jointly tackled and project outcomes can be commercialized. Third, practice and internship base construction should be strengthened—enterprises should provide more and higher-quality internship positions; by strengthening practice and internship base construction, a stable bridge from campus to workplace can be built for students, enhancing their employment competitiveness while also helping enterprises reserve outstanding talent.

After the exchange session, the two parties jointly visited the company’s R&D center, production workshop, and product exhibition area. General Manager Qin Hao personally introduced the company’s core product lines, technological innovation advantages, and industrial layout to the university leadership, with a focus on demonstrating the company’s products and market application prospects. At this symposium, the two parties reached strategic consensuses on core issues including industry-education integration, scientific research innovation, and talent pipeline development.

Future collaboration will focus on the following directions:
Talent Co-Cultivation Program: Achieve precise talent pipeline development through customized training courses and internship base construction;
Industry-Academia Innovation: Co-build joint laboratories, carry out key technology breakthroughs, and accelerate achievement commercialization;
Employment Service Upgrade: Regularly hold enterprise open days and exclusive recruitment events to establish a long-term mechanism for talent supply-demand matching.
Sunshine Bio-Tech will fully leverage its industrial advantages to build a trinity strategic collaboration platform of “teaching–research–employment” with the university. This will not only meet the talent demand for the enterprise’s high-quality development but also help the university improve talent cultivation quality, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results for both industry and academia.
