2019褐藻糖胶-保健新星(8)褐藻糖脂摄入模式解密

发布日期:2019-03-15

Fucoidan is a kind of sulfated polysaccharide, which generally exists in brown algae and echinoderms. It was first extracted from Laminaria palmata by Kylin in 1913 and named Fucoidin.

It is now uniformly named Fucoidin or Fucoidan according to international naming principles. There are many Chinese names, fucoidan, fucoidan sulfate, fucoidan sulfate, fucoidan, etc.

Mysterious " Droplets" in Brown Algae Intersecretariat Organization

Fucoidan is an intercellular polysaccharide that exists in all brown algae. It generally exists as droplets in brown algae intercellular tissue or mucus matrix and can be secreted from the surface of leaves. The content of fucoidan is closely related to the plant parts. The content of laminaria japonica leaves is more than that of the neck. The content of laminaria japonica leaves gradually increases from the base to the tip, and the edge of laminaria japonica leaves is more than that of the middle part. The content of fucoidan also varies with the species and origin of brown algae.

In addition, the growth time and season of seaweed also affect the content, which is higher in July-December and lower in March and April. At the same time, the structure of fucoidan extracted from different habitats is slightly different. The sulfate group of fucoidan extracted from kelp produced in Qingdao and Fujian in our country is mainly linked to position C4, while the sulfate group of kelp fucoidan produced in Dalian is mainly linked to positions C2 and C3, which is also the characteristic of fucoidan produced by Dalian deep blue peptide science and technology research and development co., ltd., a manufacturer of targeted marine essence components.

Dissociation mechanism-fucoidan acts on human cells in this way

The researchers made the natural fucoidan obtained from kelp into a liquid with a concentration of 1 gram per liter and injected it into a petri dish containing 10,000 colon cancer cells. The results showed that 2/3 of the cancer cells died 24 hours later and all died 72 hours later. Moreover, in this process, a cell suicide phenomenon called " detachment" occurred, that is, the DNA of cancer cells was cut off by the cell's own DNA decomposing enzyme to promote the cancer cells to achieve the goal of " suicide".

This phenomenon of " detachment" is one of the mechanisms by which objects remove unnecessary cells, just as trees kill themselves with their handles to save as much energy as possible during the winter, leaving their leaves dusted off. As a comparative observation of the above tests, cancer cells proliferated ten times to about 100,000 within 72 hours without fucoidan injection. In addition, the same results were obtained in the experiments of bone marrow leukemia cells and gastric cancer cells. Furthermore, fucoidan does not affect normal cells.

Why can't eating kelp directly supplement enough fucoidan?

Fucoidan is the main active substance in kelp. The content of fucoidan in fresh kelp can reach about 0.1%, and that in dry kelp can reach about 1%. Studies have shown that the minimum doses of fucoidan in human body are respectively about 162mg/kg for immunoregulation, 162mg/kg for anti-inflammation, 486mg/kg for antithrombosis, and 162mg/kg for anti-tumor. It can be seen that if adults with normal weight of 70kg want to eat fucoidan for anti-tumor purposes, they need to take 162mg/kg×70kg, that is, 11.3g, which is close to 11g to exert anti-tumor effect.

According to the 0.1% fucoidan content of fresh kelp, they need to take at least 11 kg of fresh kelp, which is obviously unrealistic. Therefore, the separation and purification of fucoidan by biotechnological means can achieve the purpose of quickly supplementing fucoidan and exerting its efficacy.
